I didn't originally have a training assigment on STS-132. However, the instructor assigned
to the SCA for that flight ended up working it as a flight controller! So I became the SCA instructor
stand-in for this mission.
Also, they had a minor problem on the flight
where one of the cables on the boom instrument package got snagged and prevented the package
from using its full range of motion. I helped out with the development of the revised
survey procedures, mostly doing verification of the targets. However, this work
ended up getting me a mention in the Space Shuttle Missions Summary book, so I was
really happy about that. I'd always been a big fan of this book.
